Jasmine DeGuzman Lacsamana

Program Officer

Jasmine joined the Foundation in 2015 and has nearly two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector and academic research fields. At Archstone Foundation, Jasmine has designed and implemented a multi-year initiative to strengthen the capacity and long-term sustainability of Adult Day Services programs as a support for family caregivers. She has overseen projects in family caregiving and nonprofit capacity building and is currently managing the Foundation’s strategy to advance models of care teams.

Before joining Archstone Foundation, Jasmine managed federally funded projects at the California State University, Fullerton, overseeing community-based participatory research to support Pacific Islander women’s health in Southern California. She also has experience in community programming implementation for youth mentorship, leadership training, disaster preparedness, and health education for the American Red Cross.

Jasmine serves on the Board of Directors for Grantmakers In Aging as Secretary and Chair of the Governance Committee. She also is involved in her local community by volunteering with the Parent Teacher Association and at her church. Jasmine earned her Master of Public Health with a focus on Community Health Sciences from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, and her B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine.
