Ryan DoyLoo is in his last semester at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology's Master of Science in Gerontology (MSG) program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Aging from the University of Southern California in 2021, with a minor in accounting. Aiming to attend law school and serve a career in public interest law, Ryan hopes to explore the various aspects of policy and financial hardship that affect older adults' lives every day. Ryan completed his honors thesis on the topic of financial hardship among older adults.
Over the last two years, Ryan has served as the president of the Student Gerontology Association at USC, where he represented all gerontology students in the USC Leonard Davis School. Leading efforts such as the annual Alumni Dinner, the Intergenerational Phone Chain, and collaborations with organizations such as Project Angel Food and Glamour Gals, Ryan has strived to promote the field of aging. Ryan's leadership skills, gerontological expertise, and research experiences well equip him as an intern for Archstone Foundation in Fall 2021.
Ryan enjoys hiking with his dog, Kumo, surfing in Malibu, and building computers in his free time. In his last semester, Ryan hopes to attend many USC football games and hopefully see many victories in person!
