Archstone Foundation is pleased to share our 2025 Annual Report. In it, Cynthia D. Banks, Board Chair and Rigo Saborio, MSG, President & CEO, reflect on how these challenging times are impacting older adults, share ways we’re supporting and collaborating with our partners, and outline their vision for a more just and equitable future for all of us as we age.

Over the last year, we have built deeper connections and stronger relationships with our partners who join in our shared mission of improving the health and well-being of older adults in California. As part of our trust-based and community-driven approach, we have increased our annual payout, implemented a rapid response to prioritize funding for community-led efforts, and offered flexibility to grant partners to reallocate funds to pay for general operating support in response to emerging and changing needs.

Our work begins with listening carefully to our partners, but it doesn’t end there. Together, we are reimagining a better future and taking collective action. We heard our partners’ concerns and designed a community gathering to provide a space to gather, share experiences, and engage in collaborative problem solving.

In addition to these highlights, the report reaffirms our commitment to health equity and pays tribute to organizations working tirelessly on behalf of older people. We remain dedicated to our mission and see new opportunities to collaborate with organizations and individuals who share our values. We will continue to amplify the voices of older adults and embrace their dignity, wisdom, and contributions.

We are grateful to you, our partners, for your vision and work to make sure that California is a place where all of us can thrive.

We invite you to read the report and join us in this work.
