The field of impact investing has developed over more than five decades, gaining traction as a lever for driving social change and equity, and as a prudent investment strategy. With support from Archstone Foundation, Grantmakers In Aging (GIA) released a new resource, developed by Avivar Capital, to provide an overview of impact investing, specifically within the philanthropic context, by defining key terms and sharing examples of how it is already being used.
