In May, Archstone Foundation’s Board of Directors approved two emergency response grants totaling $100,000 to address the immediate needs related to the coronavirus pandemic. One grant was in response to the needs in skilled nursing homes and congregate care settings across California; the other supports Adult Day Services providers, participants and their caregivers.
Leading Age California Foundation
Archstone Foundation awarded $50,000 over four months to LeadingAge California Foundation to address immediate needs related to the coronavirus pandemic in Skilled Nursing Facilities and congregate settings across California. LeadingAge California will work collaboratively with other associations and partners to assure that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training are distributed across diverse provider organizations, and that advocacy efforts are coordinated to help achieve the greatest visibility across myriad stakeholders. Alliance for Leadership and Education (ALE)
Archstone Foundation awarded $50,000 over nine months to Alliance for Leadership and Education (ALE) to assist in urgent and prolonged efforts of Adult Day Services (ADS) providers, participants, and their caregivers during the COVID-19 public health emergency. ALE provides guidance and information about adult day services to the public and policymakers through its partnership with the California Association for Adult Day Services (CAADS).
