Archstone Foundation approved a five-month, $16,500 grant for the 10th Annual Summit on Aging hosted by the Los Angeles Aging Advocacy Coalition, currently scheduled for June 4, 2020.
The one-day Summit raises awareness of issues related to aging and how those issues impact low-income, under-represented, and socially marginalized older Angelinos. It brings together all ages, different socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, and various sectors, personal and professional interests – a diversity that lends itself to discussing concerns and finding solutions to some of the most prominent issues facing older Angelenos today. The Summit is open to older adults, elected officials, policy makers, community organizations, government agencies, and companies who have a vested interest in aging and older people.
