Archstone Foundation announces search for a new President and CEO.

After guiding Archstone Foundation for 30 years, Joseph F. Prevratil, President & CEO will retire at the end of 2018.  Joseph Prevratil has been with Archstone Foundation since its founding in 1985, and in 1995, was named the first president & CEO. As a member of the Board of Directors, and a successful business executive in Long Beach, Joseph Prevratil brought strong leadership, strategic direction, and extensive experience in operations management.

The integrity of the Foundation is grounded in fair and responsible decision-making by its leadership.  Archstone Foundation’s Board of Directors and Staff oversees all of the Foundation's efforts.

The Board of Directors meets quarterly to oversee all grant funding requests, and serve as a tremendous asset to the Foundation.  The Board has ultimate authority and accountability for the organization’s assets and finances, programmatic directions and impacts, and operational policies.  Board members are critical linkages between the Foundation and the environment in which the Foundation operates.
