There are two levels of grantmaking at Archstone Foundation: Small Grants and Large Grants.
Small grants include any grant of $15,000 or less, and require approval of the Foundation’s Proposal Review Committee, a sub-committee of the Board of Directors. Small grants enable the Foundation to develop partnerships with new organizations, offer organizations the opportunity to demonstrate their capacity, and to fund small scale projects. Small grants begin with an LOI, follow the same process as projects over $15,000, and are reviewed quarterly. Large grants are grants greater than $15,000, and require full Board approval.
