Elder abuse is a crime without boundaries, crossing all racial, social, class, gender, and geographic lines. To address this growing problem, the Foundation made a strategic commitment to the Elder Abuse and Neglect Initiative in 2005. Since that time, the Foundation has invested over $10 million in more than 75 projects that seek to address elder abuse and its terrible consequences.
