Elder Abuse and Neglect Initiative: Defining the Future, a 5 Year Report

Elder abuse is a crime without boundaries, crossing all racial, social, class, gender, and geographic lines.  To address this growing problem, the Foundation made a strategic commitment to the Elder Abuse and Neglect Initiative in 2005.  Since that time, the Foundation has invested over $10 million in more than 75 projects that seek to address elder abuse and its terrible consequences.

As you read our report, you are invited to consider how you and your organization may work toward shedding light on this issue and toward finding solutions to the complex problem of elder abuse in your community.
