The special session, The Village Movement: A Model for Building Supportive Communities for Older Adults, was held on April 26, 2011 in San Francisco with 110 in attendance. Attendees came from across the country; including representatives from Public Health Departments, Area Agencies on Aging, Village Board Members, and Executive Directors of Villages.
